Guist is a smaller lake. The lake is going to warm up a lot quicker than Taylorsville. I think I would call down to the marina at Guist and ask for lake information. Ramp, Temp, and color on the main lake and creeks.

I personally would go to Guist creek...It was about this time last year(give or take a week or 2) when I caught one weighing 6.01 at Guist Creek...Loved that place ever since...
I don't know if I would go to Guist Creek on Saturday. There's gonna be a tournament with about 25-30 boats and Guist Creek is a small lake. There's gonna be a lot of pressure that day.![]()
Sounds like an easy decision. Anyone know where I can find crappie in T-Ville? Thanks to any takers.
Taylorsville crappie are gonna be deep because of the cold temps. Fish or troll off main channel points at about 14ft deep in 25ft of water. They will be slow this time of year but it's coming soon!
Thanks Wichta, sounds like they are staging then. Usual bait types I suppose tubes, minnows/imitations ect.? Of course I will need to use the appropriate hue for the water color,I wonder how I could figure that out...LOL!
