Headin to Guntersville this Sunday the 8th wonderin of there's any good tips or places new angler to the lake so don't kno it well

How did you do? I had a friend go down 2 weeks ago and they did OK. He co-fished a big tournament and as usual were one fish out of the money. Big group heading down the beginning of next week to try our luck. I heard the red rattle traps were the trick. Any truth to that?

I was down there the 7th and 8th; red traps were the ticket. We found solid keeper size fish from 2.5 to 4.5 pounds in 3-6 foot of water. We were hoping for a big one or two but just didn't happen, still was a fun trip. They are biting!

We were there 12-13 and14th. We did good too. Three boats not many small fish, several 2.5-3.5, 10 4-5, 1 over 6 and the kicker a 9.48. It wasn't mine unfortunately! We did see another 9.5 fish weighed in at the store between Scott. and Guntersville on 79. The fish are BITTING! We might be going back this weekend.
