Guess you need to come down here to the big lakes and give this old man some lessons on how to fish. When you get a little older and wiser you will probably look back on these days and realize the error of making such statements. I hope when you become a Fish and Wildlife officer you use a little more tact than you are using here.

i dont mean old in a bad way at all.... and although i have never met ya but if kvd recommends ya i would think that u are a pretty good fisherman... i know there was an error in me making the statement that he is to old but thats really all that i meant i didnt know that people were going to take it to heart.... i like to see mhall get worked up over me calling him old anyways... i didnt mean nothing by it.... i am stuck in my way same as everyone else when i comes to fishing too i have certain lures i liek to fish adn if that dont work then i guess i aint goin to do no good that day...... when i do become an officer i will treat everyone with respect adn dignity... just like people want to be treated.... and i know that this aint no different i was just tryin to ruffle a few feathers with no harm...

When you learn that you can't be a consistantly good angler by sticking with only lures you "like" to fish and not lures that the fish want....then you will have matured into a better angler. Kinda like a coach that is able to make adjustments to the game plan as the game flow is changing....coaches that cannot do that do not get very far or last very long.

As far as my fishing abilities...no better than any other seasoned angler and probably not as good as some...but my abilities as a guide is a different story. A bass guide is pretty much the same thing as a coach..we teach other folks how to become better bass anglers...both tournament anglers and recreational anglers. We assist tournament anglers in making a plan for their tournament and give advice. Bass guides that do not produce last no longer than coaches that do not produce....sometimes not as long...lol.
