Haven't used them, but the original Chigger Craw is my go-to plastic when bites are hard to come by in the summer. The original has great action, and I can only imagine what the new bait's action is like with the extra appendages (legs) that Berkley has added to the design. I look forward to picking some up and trying them out.

good luck finding them in the color you want...my go to guy at a local bait shop said if he could get a 1000 packs tomorrow and they would all be gone in an hour. apparently everybody's on backorder. guess i'm not the only one who will buy the "next best thing"!!!

Usually when someone wins the Classic and they release the name of the bait, it sells out immediately because people rush to get THE BAIT that is gonna win every tournament for them that they enter.

Boyd Duckett won the 2007 Classic with the Chigger Craw, and I didn't purchase any until a few months after his win. I can tell you, the Chigger Craw is a BIG bass bait. I've caught a few goodies on it, and continue to use it.

Wait a while and purchase some after all the chaos. I'm sure it must be a good bait though. They took a proven bait and tried to make it better. Whether its better or not, only we as individuals can find that out. It may suit your style of fishing better than it suits mine.

I can tell you I will at least try them!

The Zoom Super Speed Craw works just as well and it's available in stores. Berkley products are just overpriced.
