I think that common sense and respect go a long way. That goes for any job even minimum wage jobs.
I have had some officers who knew we were fishing a tourny just ask us to hold up our license to see the color so he would not disturb our spot or fishing time. That's respect and common sense. Wish you luck man.

I don't know how much the fine is for but if I where you and the cost of a local Cave Run area lawyer was less, I would take that route. If for no other reason than he brings more revenue to the county in a month than all the musky guides combined. Everyone knows how our courts are run. Overcrowding encouraging favoritism, as does the daily working relationship your lawyer should have with local law enforcement and court officers, preferably a former state employee, Commonwealth Attorney say. Congrats on your agility test sir, if I where you I would let my hollow points chase the poachers, some of those guys are nasty. Might even have rabies, would explain an awful lot. Anyway the KDFWR is huge bureaucracy and a showcase of the state and its management abilities. That may partially explain why the "Barneys" are posted to areas with fewer out of state tourists.
