CHANTIX! Been smoke free over 2 years. Chantix works on the craving but don't forget to work on the "habit" while you are at it. That is what will get you. BTW, since you are a state worker, your insurance will pay for the scrip. You just pay your deductible.

Yea I do not get the logic behind rasing price on things during an econmic crisis. Besher is doing this cause he did not get expanded gaming, thanks Mitch for messing us over, also do you all know that Mitch McConnel has more earmarks in the bill than any other senator, and most do nothing to help the economy. Our system is flawed, our reps, leg's etc, have gotten 5% + raises every year, I ahve received 5% over the last 6 yrs, my check is now smaller than it was when I started. Now they go and do this, SIN TAXES" BS!!!!. If they taxed all the illegals here we could get out of this deficit. I am growning sick and tired of the way Ky politics is ran, but now cannot afford to go anywhere else. I am going to be a bear for a while while quitting smoking, but I just can't make myself pay more for our leaders mistakes. Do you know if us at our jobs did as bad as they do we would be terminated on the spot. We hired these people to run our state, we shoul dbe allowed to fire them.

    Bobby,
I hear ya brother! Our local City Gubment is corrupt as well I have first hand knowledge since I'm dealing with them on some issues with State funds and Construction bids. Sad to say but I bet most gubment is corrupt when money is in play.
Not to side track you too much but you see the way gubment programs and gubment power is so out of control? That's why I am so against presbo! He is cut from the cloth of gubment needs to take care of you, your not smart enough to do it yourself. Plus, we will always take care of ourselves by asking for more money from you.

Day one, it is going ok , I am using a nicotrol inhaler to help ease the withdrawl, but hanging in there, I am determined to quite this habit. I have a tourney this coming weekend and it will take my mind off cigs for a few days, It is one day at a time.

I'm not doing too good. Finished the last carton and was okay till I decided one more pack. Ive slowed down, a pack has lasted me for two days but Ive got to get myself passed that last smoke and drop it. It's not going easy.

Day two, still have not smoked, having some withdraw but it will be better in the long run, breath easier, no more treated like a second class citizen, more money for fishing, doing better this time than before. It is a mind thing, if a person can quite now at this time with all the stress the world is in it should make a stronger person. Whew. Thanks Don and Grumpy and the rest for the support, comon Cobra if I can do it anyone should.

    Re: Quiting smoking

Friday and time to weigh in. First off, I have not quit yet!! But it is taking about three days to smoke a pack of these nasty things. Did get a call from my wife this morning because she told me she was proud of my trying and noticed that there hadn't been a dirty ash tray in the house all week. I leave them in the vehicle and have to put on shoes and all just to have a smoke. She will be out of town this weekend and by the the time she returns Sunday night, I plan to be smoke free. How bout it Bobby, your turn to weigh in your progress and I hope you out weigh me!!
