Must see
Folks, I don't care if you are a UK, U of L, IU or some other team's fan this is a must watch and read. It is the story of Derek and Nolan Smith. Derek was a starter on the 1980 championship team and Nolan now plays at Duke. Derek passed away when Nolan was just 8-years-old.

Re: Must see
Very nice Tim thanks for posting. Derek Smith was a heck of a guy. When he ran his basketball summer camps here in Louisville while he was in the NBA he wouldn't turn kids away because of failure to pay. If a kid wanted to come out badly and did not have the funds he would take care of it out of his own pocket. A truely good person that was role model for young athletes. I still cringe everytime I see Nolin in that Duke uniform but hey I see the tie with Dawkins and all and knew of this already. Johnny Dawkins was the starting guard on Duke's team with Tommy Amaker in 1986 when the Ville and the Dukies squared off for the National title. Of course the right team won, lol.
