My first choice is a 7' crankin stick. If I'm fishing tight quarters or need pinpoint accuracy I'll use a M action six footer. The shorter rod lets you put the bait on your target when you're throwing at a target.

I agree with fishin 4 fun. I use a 6 ft mh team all star pistol grip rod. rod is perfect for jerkibait fishin and I also use it for topwater. very very rarely miss a fish on it
