I've been reading posts on here for a while and finally signed up. I fish mostly for bass and crappie in the central area of the state. I recently retired, bought a new boat and am ready to do what I've been trying do my whole life-catch some fish, or just fish. I'm planning on fishing Cedar Creek, Barren, Herrington maybe even taylorsville for a while, then southern arkansas early april then I'm wanting to go to Ky Lake in may, Ive never been there but from what yall say on here and what I've heard I'm really looking forward to it.

Welcome aboard. Don't fish much in Central Ky even though I live right in the middle of it. Do know that when you go to Ky Lake in May, take your deep crankbaits, C Rig, T Rig and big jigs for the ledge bite is in full swing then.

Harry I have gone down to Dale Hollow a few times but havent had much luck there. Havent been able to figure out the smallies much yet. I might go in the fall this year so I will be following posts from there.
