    Im about to mount a LMS 520c and Im putting my tranducer inside the boat. (thru the hull) Thats where my old one was and it read the same temp as my trolling motor depth finder. Id rather have it inside anyways for the reason knocking it off, breaking it and buying a new one or just the thought of putting holes in my boat. Just my thought!!

    Thats why I put mine inside also, just couldnt bring myself to drill holes on the outside of my boat, just couldnt do it.
