That is not very nice and both of you owe Mr. Ike an appology. The two of you need to beg him for his forgiveness and hope that you get it. Even though, both of you are 110% ABSOLUTELY CORRECT, it is still not a nice thing to say. You both will be sorry when he becomes the BEST EVER.
