Since KDFWR stocked 2,000 rainbows in Waverly Park on the 4th the bite has steadily picked up. The fish I caught this morning before I couldn't feel my fingers anymore had picked up enough meat on their backs to be fun to play on ultralight gear. Old reliable strikes again, 1/16th oz. silver Panther-Martin, orange-hackle tail. I'm going to try my fly rod tomorrow if its not raining to hard. They have been wailing on whatever is living on top of that water.
