Beaver trapping is more about where you put the trap and how many you put out, rather than what type of bait to use. As a matter of fact bait is probably not going to yield some results. You need to watch for patteren movements and/or favorite spots the beaver may travel. Look for areas that they are cutting trees or building dams. Entries to dams and nesting areas are your best bet. Set multiple traps in all the hot spots and be careful the traps can be dangerous. Make sure that you check the traps everyday you don't want to snare the wrong animal and leave it out there.
