had a great day. caught around 50 bass. not much size to them but a whole lot of fun. caught probably 40 crappie. kept my limit and threw the rest back. no slabs but keeper size. couldnt keep from catching the yellow bass. they were every where. could nt tell you how many of those i caught. this was my second trip down there and by far my best day. i fished the bays on the east side, water temp was 55 to 61, caught the bass mostly on shad raps, blck and silver #5 and #7. and a few on a 1/2 oz. football jig. crappie on a white jig 1/8oz.
