Sorry there Swift1, I thought I would spread some good news about Taylorsville for a change. I also have trouble, at times, catching fish there. I have never caught a 5 fish keeper limit. I still want to take you out and let you show me how you do it.

how about everyone with a castnets and 55 gallon barrels take 5 minutes filling the barrels with shad and maybe put a dent in the shad population. not sure what to do with the shad when we get them but im sure we could think of something. just a thought![]()
For the record there are NO bass in T-ville!! Everyone stay far, far away!!
I do agree that they do need to do something with the shad population, some of those things are huge.
I'd love to see KYFW stock more Hybrid/White Bass and Blues to help further errata them shad. The green Bass are just to fat and happy. The casting net idea is a good one. Area farmers would love free fertilizer and possibly cat fisherman would love extra dead then frozen shad for cut bait all summer long.
