Onboard battery charger.

Hello all,
I have a Minnkota MK106 onboard charger.
Today I hooked up my battery and when I plugged in the charger it started toggling back an forth between full charge and charge very rapid like the sound of a clock. AS it was plugged in it slowed down with the toggling and stayed on charge. When the battery charger showed full charge I unplugged it. I plugged it back in about half an hour later and it done the same thing.
The charger has not done this before and is about 2 years old with very low usage.
Battery trouble???
Any ideas???

I would check the battery. Had a similar thing with my charger a month or so ago and it turned out to be a bad two year old battery.
