    The End of Time

According to one man’s interpretation of the Book of Revelations, I think we are in trouble.

Since 1948 when the Jews were allowed to return to Palestine and the new nation of Israel was founded, all American President have befriended the Jewish state but at the same time, especially in later years, have kept it in check from establishing some of its more nationalistic and territorial desires. In other words, America has kept them from completely reoccupying ALL of old Israel and especially Jerusalem, which according to Revelations must be accomplished before the countdown to the end can start.

The beginning of the end will come within one generation (Biblically 40 years) from when the Jews reoccupy all of old Israel but that start date is open, in several ways, to interpretation, i.e., it could have been 1948 the year of the initial return; it could have been 1967 when they militarily began control of the Arab lands; or it could be 1981 when they proclaimed Jerusalem as their Capital even though the city is still divided.

There are several other things that must happen, not the least of which is a War called Armageddon. However, one of the biggest and most tangible signs of the beginning of the end is the rebuilding of the sacred Temple, which will be the Third Temple, on the site of the Old Temple WHICH IS NOW OCCUPIED BY THE MUSLIM’S DOME OF THE ROCK.

I said in a previous post that I think the Obama administration will forsake any future help to Israel and the Israelis will be on their own. Recent events show that this is coming to pass sooner then I thought it would—I am talking about Obama’s video and overtures to become friends with Iran. Pretty soon, the Jews are going to figure they have nothing to loose and will have go it alone WITHOUT THE HELP OF AMERICA NOR OUR CHAINS THAT HAVE HELD IT BACK.

So, here is what I think will happen between now and the end of 2010: some fanatic Jew will blow up the Muslim Dome of the Rock and, after a big furor, the Israeli government will say: “Oh well, since the Muslim Temple has been destroyed, we may as well rebuild ours.”

And that, my friends will be the beginning of the end. Enjoy the rest of your Sunday.

    Re: The End of Time

Which endtime version do you want me to believe, yours or King James? There is no War of Armageddon mentioned in the Bible; it is called Megiddo which can either be the Megiddo Valley or the Megiddo Mountains; I believe the war will be fought in the Megiddo Valley.

By the way, is it the Dome of the Rock or the Temple Mount? The antichrist will rebuild and rule seven years from the Temple in Jerusalem. Never under estimate the strength of Israel; they have proven that they still believe in an eye for an eye and a tooth for a tooth. When the time is right, Israel will begin collecting eyes and teeth and let God sort out the rest.

I judge Biblical prophecy based on the way it measures up according to the Scriptures. This is not intended to be flippant in any way. My late brother was a Bible Scholar and held a Doctorate degree from the SWBC School of Divinity. He was one of the most enlightened teachers of the Book of Revelations that I've ever known. I've heard him teach it and we had extensive discussions on it. You may be surprised to know that endtimes are discussed throughout both the Old and New Testament, not just in Revelations alone. If a person is saved, there is nothing to fear or be concerned about except making sure we're ready to go when the call is made to "Come Home."

    Re: The End of Time

Bug, being a heathen and having read the Bible in its entirety only one time, much like I would a novel, I am not asking you to believe anything. I an only giving, as I said, one man's opinion of what I think is in the Bible and may be in our near future.

The Dome of the Rock is the familiar name of the Muslim Temple that is built on the TEMPLE MOUNT with only part of the Ancient Jewish temple remaining at its base.

I am sure that you are much better versed in the content of the Bible (any version) than I am but I would like to point out that Armageddon is the common Jewish name for Moount Mediddo and it is mention ONCE.

" The word armageddon, which means "mount of Megiddo" occurs only once in the Bible. In the sixteenth chapter of Revelation this word is used to designate the place of the final conflict between Jesus Christ and the Antichrist:"

" And I saw three unclean spirits like frogs [come] out of the mouth of the dragon, and out of the mouth of the beast, and out of the mouth of the false prophet. For they are the spirits of devils, working miracles, [which] go forth unto the kings of the earth and of the whole world, to gather them to the battle of that great day of God Almighty. And he gathered them together into a place called in the Hebrew tongue Armageddon." ( Rev. 16:13-14, 16)

However, all of that being said, the real intent of my post not to foretell Doom and Gloom but to show that the Obama administration may not realize what part of Pandora's Box it may be opening by foresaking Isreal.
Obama's overtures to Iran, Norht Korea, and other off the wall regiems scare the pants off of me.
