    Cedar Creek Lake

Someone pulled in a 7 lb bass Saturday. Saw a photo and read about it at Cedar Creek Lake Outfitter's. For those looking for water temps, fishing reports they have regular updates.

The man who caught the 7pounder was my father-in-law. It was the first fish of the day! Later on, I caught one that went 4lbs 2oz - last fish of the day, but we caught several in between. We went again yesterday and he caught one fish about 2lbs, and I caught 2. One fish was 3lbs 2oz, the other 3lbs 11 ozs.

If you get on the Cedar Creek Outfitters Website, our pictures are in the photo gallery.

Good job Shimano. Glad to see somebody getting some nice bass out of there. I've been trying to get out there but havent yet, maybe in a few days. How was the boat traffic over the weekend? I usually only fish there on weekdays but might only get to go this weekend.

You are totally right! I'll have to crop those photos in the future!

The boat traffic was ok early (around safe light). However, when the sun popped up, so did the boats. We left around 2:30 or so, and the ramps were covered with boats waiting to launch. It was pretty ridiculous! Cedar Creek gets beat up pretty badly on the weekends, but its close to home and convenient for me (only about 15 to 20min from my house). I also fish Herrington alot (only about 2 minutes to the nearest ramp).

If you don't want to feel crowded, I don't know if I would head that way....weekends are pretty bad there. If I didn't fish there often and could take a day during the week to go, that would be the route I would choose.
