Falls of the Ohio, take I-65north across the Ohio river, take exit 0, come to the end of the ramp and take a left go under the overpass take another left come to stop sign take another left come to 4-way by Buckheads take a right..This all happens real quick..go straight down this road to the railroad bridge park there and walk down to the river below the dam ...Bam....white and chart. are my two favorite colors...Good luck...Chuck
Thanks, gonna check it out tomorrow.
Up in Henryville In in the state forest there are some ponds with good bank fishing too
You could try heading out Shelbyville Rd to Miles Park. There's several ponds and a creek there.
McNealy Lake off of Smyrna is good in spring. Not a lot of people out there yet.
KDFWR is posting more and more info on their site about our local ponds and when they're stocked:

Tom Wallace, Miles, and Fisherman's are my personal favorites. They should all be stocked in early April.
