Thanks for the report Tyme and if you go to the hard curve by the ramp were people park there's a mess of concrete blocks scattered up and down that rock pile...some of my best anchors have come from that area..lol.. Chuck

I was on the water today in the kayak. Limits were being caught but you had to work for it, not like last winter when they were jumping into your boat! the bite seemed to be better early. Good luck ya'll.

Went again Monday keep 16 all over 15". Had several small small strippers. In the duck pond. The fishin was slow.

Maybe it was slow for you............Below the Center, EVERYONE was hooking up. There was a "bite box", and if you got in that box, you caught fish. A couple guys out on the point WORE them OUT...........I managed 6 smaller sauger, but some SERIOUS fish were being caught.

I counted 65 people in the horseshoe...........WOW.

I'm headed down again tomorrow with my canoe........I think.

ON Monday the 16th we killed them in the duck pond all sows got one 19" the 2 of us ended up with 14 sows ,then fished the duck pond Friday level was 25ft too much water coming thru,only got 2 fish in the duck pond ,moved to mouth of silver creek got one more sauger ,then went Sunday a ton of boats in the duck pond the fish were holding in the deep hole in the 2nd break in the duck pond wall,there was 5 boats on top of that hole and they were killing them ,but no sows ...then we ran to the warm water discharge @ Gallagher and we had a blast with hybrids on blade baits

I know th weather is suppose to **** all week and weekend but does any one want to take me out?! I can bring gas and beer!! I need some fish for the frying pan ASAP!

Tell you what I'll do: I've got 16 nice sauger filets from Monday in my freezer. The wife is out of town visiting the grandkids so bring the beer to my house and I'll give you the filets!! LOL

Fried up 4 filets last night after they sat in some buttermilk, coated lightly with Uncle Buck's fish batter and fried in an iron skillet. Unfortunately my youngest son and his girlfriend showed up and gobbled up three of the four filets.

I've also got some left over pork and beans so that should cover the "gas" aspect of the dinner.

And that's been a dang good anchor for me to Mark..lol It's lasted along time...course I just drift fish when your not there ... that thing is heavy...lol
