I read an article that AJ Jolly was a good crappie lake, couldnt believe my eyes I did not know there was any fish in that lake other than blue gill and cats.

Where did you read the article? I would not consider it a good crappie lake. You can catch a few here and there, mostly 6-8". I have caught some there up to 14", but few and far between. My best day there was a couple of years ago, maybe 8 keepers between 9-11". There are some decent bass in the lake, but you won't catch a bunch. I caught one nice one last fall on a jig around 5.5lbs.

The article was in Kentcky game and fish. It also said Williamstown was a good crappie lake. I have caught a few good crappie in Williamstown but they are far and few with lots of little ones.

I agree. Same here about Williamstown.
