I was on the lake two weeks ago. Water temp was around 52. Good water clarity. seen shad on the surface looked as if they were dying; swimming upside down and on their side. Crankbait or Jerkbait should work around docks. maybe a bit early for the backs of the long arms, but I would at least take a look back in the shallows. Good Luck!
