    Re: I need new sunglasses

I had a pair of Costa's I loved - they are somewhere between sugar bay and pisgah in the main river channel. I've had cheaper ones from Wal-mart, that served their purpose as well. To get a high quality pair of polarized shades, you will have to pay more. The cheaper lenses have a polarized coating.

The best pair I have ever owned are the ones I currently have. I got them from my eye dr. with a minor prescription. They still cost me over $100, but they are worth every penny.

Natives are awesome. Lots of different frame styles. Mine came with polarized lenses, an amber lens, a yellow lens, and clear lenses. The yellow lenses are awesome on a clooudy day. They still cut glare and make it so you can see forever. The polarized lens technology that they use is great two. Lifetime warranty. Less than the costas that i looked at at Bass Pro. I have the silencers. I just got them replaced because i broke the last pair. Sent me brand new glasses and lenses no questions asked.

I have two pairs of Costas and love em. The pair I use for freshwater fishing have a vermillion colored lens and WOW it will make fish POP out of stained freshwater. This pair is cheaper (like $115) and came with three easily interchangeable lens. I keep the vermillion lens in all the time though, its perfect, just dont wear them in public, the color is a little fruity. Oh and I am CHEAP and for me to spend big$$$ on something like sunglasses is saying ALOT!

While Ive never had a claim with them, my friend has and he said their customer service is top notch!

    Re: I need new sunglasses

For what I've spent on cheap glasses (20-80 dollars each) in the past 10 years I could have bought 4 pair of Costas and been done with it. I bought my first pair of Costas 3 years ago. Lost them in Cave Run that same year. Bought my second pair the next month and have had them ever since. You'll keep up with a pair of good glasses better than you will cheap ones. I've sent mine back once to have the ear pieces replaced. Got a brand new pair of glasses. I bought both pair on e-bay for less than retail. The one I have is the Triple tail with green mirror lenses. Get the mirror lenses, no more getting smacked by your wife at the beach...

I bought a pair of polarized sunglasses from Bass Pro that has built in readers at the bottom for $30. Absolutely love them. You don't have to carry reading glasses to tie or remove hooks from your fish. Come in different strengths and 2 colors, amber and blue.
