Here's my secret bait for hybirds/stripers. CHICKEN LIVERS. Don't laugh. They work.

Do you know why it works? It's because that's what they raise them on at the hatchery's. I guess the little rascals grow a taste for them.

Ive seen on ky afield a segment on trot line and jugging they were using black sewing needle thread just wrapping it around the chicken liver from top of the hook down to the bottom and then just breaking it off. This may be another good way to rig your livers.
