I absolutly love that lake it is by far my favorite lake ever. You need to trhrow a spinnerbait on points or jigs up in the backs of the coves and creeks. I'll be there all week next week.
Good luck

Going to Dale next monday. Never been before. Anyone tell me what to throw and where to fish. We are fishing the ky side of it. Plus can you fish any of the tenn side without a tn license? Thanks fellows in advance.

just got back small mouths on the point using crawls or lizards spots and largmouth seem to be concentrated in the backs of coves anywhere where there is running water coming , as far as license there is a neutral zone were kentucky or tenesse license are valid i believe its near the kentucky side near the wolf river but you might want to check i believe there is a map online i love the lake you should have a great time good luck
i couldnt catch nothing in back of coves saturday.
Can't fish in Tennessee without a Tennessee License, not that I'm aware of anyway. If I were you'd I'd get the Tennessee License, at least a three-day anyway. Tennessee Fish and Wildlife Authority take their wildlife pretty serious.
Thanks guys. Here is a stupid question, is there signs that says entering tn and leaving ky?
Yes, there are signs to help determine which state you are in. Try to get familiar with the state lines on a map so that you will know when and where to start looking for the signs. Sometimes they kind of blend into the background. You should be okay going up the Wolf River. The line cuts across Sulphur Creek and I believe it is enforced. Also, the bay out in front of the lodge falls into the reciprical license agreement but make sure you stay to the east of the line from the eastern mouth of the Obey River to the point at the north side of the bay. There is a sign there to help you.
