It's what you call when you fixin to lay a whoopin' on someone. See the local gas staion and the poor old fellow you laid out a while back. Then you can use the term going Elnut on someones rear lmao.If you actually landed the fish that you hooked, instead of LDR (Long Distanced Released) the majority of them, then you would have a 63 fish day yourself. For those that don't know, George, hooked and fought 387 fish by himself on Friday and landed just 3. Heck of a hook and land ratio if you ask me. From now, in my boat at least, every time you actually hook and begin to fight the fish but it comes off it is called pulling a "GEO". This is now added to the standing other acronyms in my boat which are: If you hook and overplay a small fish to extreme measures, it is called a "ROB". If you are manning the net and take a stab at a 40lb Striper and a 5lb Smallmouth and instead of netting them you hit them both in the side and knock them both off the hook it is also called a "ROB". If you hook into a tree branch, then set the hook and start reeling it in, AND PLAY IT AROUND THE TROLLING MOTOR FOR FEAR OF GETTING IT IN THE TROLLING MOTOR AND BREAKING YOU OFF ALL THE WHILE THINKING IT IS AN ACTUAL FISH, it is called a "Cliff". Come on boys, I can take it, let me have it, tell me what a Elnut is called because I am sure you have a few.
i still have 34 days until i make it down to barkely. BUT, THE FLOWERS WILL BE UP THEN!!!!HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAH
Hey mhall, Woody gave the guy every opportunity to back off.
I still smile/laugh when I think about that thread!
Flowers are up now and there is some water already flooding some. Hoping for a NORMAL spring so the flower bite will be good in 3 weeks for our 7 days trip but the way they blew up the lake this weekend makes me wonder already.
im hoping for a normal spring as well. last year was no fun as the fish were not in the flowers or brush for the first time in years that i have been down there. had to fish points and lead in banks last year. not what i like to do during my trip to barkley.
With all the flooding up north you never know what they will do with Ky and Barkley. I learned last year that it is not always the rain around the lakes that make them raise. Any flooding up and down the Mississippi will cause them to back them up as well. With this crazy weather who knows.
Amen to that!
Amen to that's not what we go to Barkley for in the spring. Go flowers go.
