    Dix River

    Any tips on what lures to use on the Dix river now that the whites are running? Going to give it a shot this year after saying i would the last 2 or 3!

    I was talking to a guy the other day that swears by a 3" sassy shad with a pink jighead.

    Sounds good. I've got one tied one now to head down but not the pink jig head. Hopefully chartruese will work!

    wanted to follow up with a report....if your gonna ask for advice mind as well tell if it worked!
    hit the dix river last night with no success...local boys said the cold snap last weekend knocked them back down but with the warmer weather they should start running again soon.
    probably 15 or so guys out there and saw 3 caught on 3" mister twisters.

    Have heard the same as far as Most of them not running yet, but getting close. Best day I have ever had was on 3" sassy shads w/ 1/8oz silver jig head. Have also heard rapalas and rooster tails can do the trick. Color of sassy shad definitly makes a difference and is directly related to the water color in my experience out there.
