Beaver Lake Report?

I'm planning on taking a young Military man fishing tomorrow before he goes to Afganistan later this month. This should be one of several trips. I was hoping that Beaver Lake was a good bet...anyone know how it's fishing right now? Thanks in advance.

a buddy of mine from work told me that a couple of days last week that the bass were biting real good, but that was before this last weekends weather. said they caught up to 20-25 with only one that would have kept. most fish he said were 10-12 inches. pretty sure they were using rattle traps but he rufused to tell me for sure. hope this helps a little and good luck.

It's been 2 weeks since I was there last. Fished the tourney and we caught about 45-50 bass and no keepers. Jerk bait. No color preference as long as it was a jerk bait. Fish caught in deeper water, secondary drop and should be moving more shallow by now. Fluke may produce as well. Good luck and post back results. Tell the Military Man that we appreciate his service.

Looks like we can't go this morning so we will try another day. That's the kind of fishing report that makes you want to get out and catch a few! Thanks and I will post how we do at Beaver once we can get out.
