    Re: Cedar Creek Boating Issues

His name was posted on the Cedar Creek Lake Outfitters Web Site, and he was the name the KDFWR said to call for boating safety issues on Cedar.

It does get really anoying when your trying to fish your favorite water and the fishing pressure increases every year making it harder and harder to catch the fish you used to. This happens way too often when the word gets out about a great fishery, but its the nature of the beast.

For small impoundments like cedar creek it wont take long before it turns into a guist creek with all the fishing pressure.
Heck, I like Guist Creek better anyway! I really hate new laws and regulations but an idle speed only on the upper part of the lake would fix the majority of the problems.

PLEASE, no regulations! It's my primary fishing hole, and I deal with the same guys too. It's a courtesy thing, and I've unintentionally made the mistake a few times myself. It's a Great lake ... enjoy it, and "roll with it". Life's way too short!

me personally i see no need for any regulations on this lake for speed ,i pay my fees just as well as the next guy and if i wanna zip up the lake in a wake zone i am zippin and if they change it there i will do just like i do with beaver i wont go there and probally like other people who like to run there motors and in return lincoln co. will lose money and really thats what these lakes do for people who dont fish they bring in gas money, food and local baitshops

    Re: Cedar Creek Boating Issues

I have only fished cedar creek a couple of times but on the first trip it was last summer one night. It was a great night to be on the water. The first fish was in 30 minutes by the dam. About 20 inches. Then we caught several 2 pounders through out the night.

Seems like a great lake to fish. I agree, I also come to an idle everytime I pass someone. No hurry needed, just there to have a good time.
