Green River Today

I am still kicking myself for not fishing the usa bassin tourmanent the 28th @ green. Thursday I caught a smallmouth and a spot that I had to take a second look at it. They both were so pale. Both come below Holmes Bend. Basically no pigment at all. I will not make the same mistake the 18th I will be fishing Green instead of Barren.

If past results are any indicator that promises to be another good weigh in. For the last 3 years, the March and April weigh-ins have brought big sacks to the scales. Last year it took 14+ to win it, and the year before it was 17+.

We'll look forward to seeing you. We blast off at safe-light, so the start time may be 15 minutes before/after the posted start time.

That largemouth you caught was huge. Probably the second biggest I had ever seen weighed in a tournament.

Been several guys in this week talking about huge spots this year on green. For all of you tournament guys and gals. I am hosting the Midwest-Sportsman tourney's on green this year, first tourney is saturday april 11, 7am launch time out of site #1.
