I would have thought you were tired of putting those hogs in your boat by now anyways and was ready for a break. I have been fishing Willisburg for a change in scenery and to miss the mad house at Cedar. As soon as I start hearing how tough it getting on Cedar then it's time for me to go back there and start fishing it again.
Thats sounds like a good idea. I mght start going to Cumberland until the "spring fling" is over.I would have thought you were tired of putting those hogs in your boat by now anyways and was ready for a break. I just got solid confirmation on that 8 pounder caught yesterday. My buddy was down there fishing solo yesterday. He caught one about 4 pounds (crankbait). He told me a guy came over and asked him if he had a scale. My buddy weighed the fish for him on a digital scale and said it was 8 pounds on the nose. Guy caught the fish on a jig.
Did the 8 lber. go back into the lake ? or get eat like the rest of the bass in that lake ? I had the fishing time of my life over there about 4 years ago , all be it in the winter when there were'nt hardly any boats on the water , with numerous fish from 3 to 5.5 lb . An awsome day. I believe those fish are not there any more and were put to the knife . Would be interested to hear other opinions on the bass population in Cedar Creek.
These fish are getting smart. They get hammered every day seven days a week. This lake is like any other new lake, it has already peaked.Did the 8 lber. go back into the lake ? or get eat like the rest of the bass in that lake ?
