    Re: stay away

Sorry about the first post. Guys stay away from Rod Hatfield, we worked out a deal with them that we have in writing. Then they had us drive over from out of town to make the deal. When we got there we applied for 0% financing, and got approved. Which we were later told by the lady in the finance dept. doesnt happen often. Gm offers it as an incentive, but set the bar so high most people cant get it.
Anyhow, the sales manager tried to add $1700 to the price without telling us. I caught it and said no deal, then he became angry and got rude with us. We told him by and as we were leaving he followed us out. The owner was standing outside and asked the sales manager what was going on, and the mananger told him we were being disrespectfull. The owner waved his hands toward the road and said let them go they dont matter.
The next day the sales manager yelled at my wife on the phone,
theres more to the story. But I will stop here, be glad to tell anyone who gives me a call or pm. I posted on a couple local sites and have gotten several replies with similar, and some worse stories about this place.
I know how hard money is to come by so just wanted to give you guys a heads up. Also I have bought 3 vehicles there in the past.

by far the best chevy dealership i have ever dealt with has to be jack burford here in richmond.... i went in there one day as a college student that likes to fish to get my oil changed about 3 years ago and i am now friends with the whole service staff and the service manager and i have been out fishing with another trip in the works.... anythign i need these guys do what they can for me.... i would drive 100 miles out of my way to let them work on my truck.... shoot i had a tire going down on the ole ranger trailer and i whipped it in there and i was on my way to the lake happy as i could be and my tire was fixed......

That's a big jump from a truck? I guess when you got it, you got it.

TO add to the story, we recently found out from employee at RH that the Traverse we tried to buy had been hit in the parking lot. And had body work done to it. They tried to sell us a new car that had body work done on it.
We did get her a new Traverse in Hopkinsville at Patriot Chevrolet. Top notch people there. They got us in and out quick, gave us a better deal and we did get the 0% financing.
