This weekend on the Licking River

Hey Guys, fished sat. and sun. on the licking river in pendleton county. caught three cats all together. The fish were biting good all day but I don't think I had the right hook size. We usually catch catfish ranging from 1 lb. to 5 lb. does anyone have suggestions on the proper hook size and model that I should use?

I always use a 4/0 circle hook, but im going for the bigger ones. If I were you I would use a 2/0 circle hook. That should get the job down on just about any size.

White Bass should be starting to run in the Licking,just don't feel right with snow flurries today though.I like to night fish for Catfish in the Licking below riffles,Helgramites drifted downstream work well for me,but bottom fishing with Chicken Liver or Nightcrawlers works also.
