What's the best way to fish a YUM Dinger and similar baits? I don't fish them a lot but when I do, I tend to T-rig them on a 5/0 hook (5inch dinger). I work them similar to a fluke but a bit slower. I was watching Bill Dance one day and he said he never uses his rod tip to move a Dinger. He lets it sit on the bottom and turns the reel ever little bit. Of course, he was fishing shallow water. I'm usually in deep clear water.
