Anyone else having trouble finding fish since the past cold front?
i found them along structure, just couldn't get a lot of them to bite.
I am heading there wednesday for four days. Any suggestions on techniques would be appreciated! Looks like the weather will be good for a few days, I hope it helps make things a little more consistent.
the fish that i caught on easter were on a jig around end of laydowns couldnt get anything on crankbait or jerkbait biggest fish was 3.2 hard to feel the bite with the wind blowing as hard as it was. water is kind of murky in areas.
Should have nice weather?
I think the weather is going to work out well, i am thinking friday will be the best day. Thanks for the tips on the jig, one of my favorites anyway.
jig is something that i never really throw but the past two years i have really learned how to use it and how many big fish you can catch on them
I fished the river a week ago last Friday. Couldn't hook a fish on the flats, but found them stacked up heavy in the channels. Just couldn't get a hook up. Will still go up there later this week.
i figured everything would be a lil slow...did you try working a jerkbait any? ill be there next week for the first time, suggestions greatly appreciated! thanks
Yeah the fish just wouldnt react to it I worked slow as possible and tryed working it fast but they just wouldnt hit it at all...
same here. jerkbait is almost always my goto bait this time of year, and they just wanted nothing to do with it. actually haven't got any to bite on it all week, including this wonderful day today. carolina has been catchin them tho
havnt tried thrown that yet but will sunday were you useing a worm or what?
