DH fish were stronger today

I have yet to see any sign of fanning, I did fish an area today that was on a flat w/willows it was long way from deeper water, I was pleasantly surprised and had the numbers too.

What I found today will change my way of fishing, as b4 all my fishing was done on flats closer to the deep water but today I was over 100 plus yards from deeper water, also hit a nice large mouth......Id say within 3 hours I had over 20 plus pounds of fish in the boat keep in mind I'm fishing shad.....

Nice fish, fisheater,bandit1 and I are going to Dale the 22nd-26th and fish shad too. We`ve done it the past 2 years at this time and had a ball with big smallmouth`s and alot of numbers. Fishing the willows like you but not on the flats

I will be down there fishing shad next week all week as well. Say hi if you guys see me it would be nice to meet some of the guys from the site. I will be in a white and black nitro bay 1900 with a 125 merc on the back. I will be fishing out of Star Point like always but i fish all around that end of the lake.

I'm not sure where Star Point is. We will be out of Hendrick's Creek. I will be in a 16' Tracker & my son (austin30900) will be with me. I hope to see you down there.
