OSS race at LC.

Just for the info. the OSS race series will be at the Lake May15-17 the race course will be from the Dam up to the Roweena area.
The race village will be at Halcomb's landing ramp, they will be running shuttles from the Kendall area to Halcombs.
This will be a very busy area of the lake and there will be a restricted area while they are racing.
For those that just want to fish you should be fine from Beaver/Otter and up lake east.

Any idea on the times that they'll be running the race? You know, for those of us who might visit that end of the lake after dark on occasion

Dave, Your post was appreciated. Would have hated to show up at Halcombs on the 15th thinking I could launch and fish that area. Saved me from that fun! I'm sure it helped others too. If some posters cannot respond in a respectful manner, I can remove the offending posts rather than the whole thread.

Thank's Andrew for understanding my orignal post,I started with for you're info for the members here at fishin.com so no one showed up at Halcombs etc at this end of the lake and were shut out. I will not get in the discussion about the poker run- Boat races-
fishing tourneys etc.

BTW. I hope you have fresh line on you're rod's

Not only do I have fresh line, but I cleaned the reels, tied a few more jigs, and turned some more plugs. Now I just need a striper or 3

To keep the thread on topic, I removed all posts that went off topic. Probably should have done it earlier before it got negative. Informative threads like this are appreciate as it gives everyone the heads up about events that may impact how they use the lake any given weekend. Hope everyone will understand and stay on topic.
