Yes........they do.
Tipsaw is a better panfish lake, if you ask me..........But if you want the BEST around here, head to Dogwood..........you can WEAR them out there.

I've got a quick question regarding several lakes in Southern Indiana. I fish Indian lake in the forestry and have had good success with the gill/redears. I've never fished Tipsaw or Celina though, do those lakes present the same opportunities panfish wise? I've also caught some nice crappie out of Indian on the rare occasion I target them. What's the best out of the three for redears?
Also, is Lake Lincoln or Scales Lake good panfish lakes? How do they compare to Indian etc.? Thanks in advance.

Thanks George, are the gills and redears bigger in Tipsaw than the other lakes? Or do you catch more in Tipsaw?
I've been to Dogwood and you're right, it's a panfisherman's paradise. It's a long drive from Utica though.
Where is Dogwood located?
Are you down by the river? Jeffersonville? I live up here by BPS. I have never fished any of these lake but would love to go. if you would like to show me I have a good lund boat and truck looking for a guide.
For big red ear try Springs Vally Recreation Area(TUCKER LAKE)Going toward French Lick on 145 about a mile past Tony's Marine turn right on base line road and follow the signs.Baby night crawlers or red worms.
I've been wanting to go to Tuckers, are the redears in there big? What part of the lake is good for redears? Thanks.
Go to the left end of the dam and look for a small point where the grass bank starts to turn to rock wall.In that general area fish the drops to deeper water with weeds. The middle finger across from the ramp(down the right side of the middle finger can be awesome). If the water is real high or truly flooded go into the creek(middle finger)and fish in the trees. It's been 2 years since I have been there but I have always done well there.By big I mean small dinner plates very solid and very thick.when you hit those your in the big ones.
