Excellent post and darn true on all accounts. This is a prime example of the type of people we have running this great country. By any standards he is a no count drunken fool that shouldn't have made local bank president never the less an American Senator.
I agree with Tim, go meet your maker you idiot and be judged. This one may get thrown back because he's not a keeper and end up in the Devil's livewell instead, where he belongs. And just think that's where he's excellency got their family Dog, Oh the Irony of it all.

Even if only some of this was true (I have learned to believe 50% of what I read ) I still think he is a crook in the tallest order. His illness, while tragic, was used to bolster support for the party. They used him to patch the wounds of all the Dems who pointed out flaws in Presbo and Hillary. These Libs played on every heart string possible....they ran a great campaign!

I thought naming the dog "Bo" shows how much this guy loves himself. I even would have understood naming his dog "George" just for the irony but Bo? Puhlease....

As I was reading this all I could think was this sounds a lot like Bush. Of course Bush was never involved in talking points 6 or 7 but it sounds like something he could have been involved in during his early years.

Talking points? I'm sure MS. Kopechne thought they were a good bit more than talking points while she clawed at the car's upholstery as she drowned.

I was just reading the list and thinking after most how they also mirrored some of the stuff Bush has done with the biggest differences being #s 6, 7. Which of course makes Kennedy a complete scumbag.

THAT is so true.................I really HATE the fact that this scumbag is still allowed to participate.........He cannot even wipe the drool from his own face, but hey, I guess that STILL makes him qualified to be a democrat senator.

Sounds like a few other senators that were in there. Thurman, for example.

I agree with Don, term limits. Heck, we limit how long someone can be president, no reason why congress should be any different.

Also agree with Tom, if you are not conherent, you are out. Its a disgrace that folks that cannot function on their own are allowed to participate in making laws, etc.

Illness has a way of slapping the "High and Mighty" off their thrones and death makes all men equal. There are no safe deposit boxes crafted into a casket and no Wells Fargo trucks parked at the gravesite; Kennedy's death will make him equal to the poorest man.

He has always thought of himself as a ruler instead of a Senator and his money has bought many an evil deed. Now all his riches cannot buy him one more day of health.

I'm predicting that, like Rose Kennedy and Jackie O, all the family will gather at his home to say their "goodbyes" and then he will be given a dose of medication. There will be news reports of all the close, loving Kennedy clan being present at the time of his death but we won't hear about that last dose of medicine. I think he will be euthanized regardless of the name by which it is called.

Does anyone remember that Jackie O had conversations with and gave instructions to each family member just minutes before her death? I believe she also took the "short cut."

What upsets me is the democrats and Massachusetts have been willing to let this man be a senator after the Mary Jo Kopechne murder. Had he tried to save her or act as he cared about her life I could have accepted it as a tragic accident but he would still need to step down. I know if he were a republican we would demand he step down as a disgrace that he is.
