    RIP Greg Page

Former heavyweight champion Greg Page died this morning. I have known Greg since I was 15-years-old and he was always a lot of fun to be around. The last few years seeing him in a wheelchair has been tough.

Sorry to hear that Tim. It's tough to see stuff like that but it does sounds like he is in a better place.

    Re: RIP Greg Page

Guys, thanks for the comments. It has been a tough day today for me. I just wish everybody had a chance to know Greg. He was a great guy and had a lot of pressue on him when he was coming up. Could you imagine trying to live up to the expectation of being the "Next Ali". The funny part is, Greg would have traded it all to play basketball (and he was pretty dang good)!

It is always hard to say goodbye to good friends and good people, I had to do this last week.

Sorry that you lost a friend, Tim. I just saw his story on the news. I didn't know much about him, and certainly didn't realize he'd had such a hard life, especially the last few years.
