temps were around 54 on the main lake, some of the coves were pushin 57 on monday. had a small tourney there, considering the conditions, not bad wieghts. winner had 19 and change, big fish was a 7.14 largemouth, and one guy caught a 5.84 smallmouth.

    That is pretty strong........

I was there yesterday........and Patoka is the DEAD SEA

I used to fish it a lot, but have not been back too much, especially since having issues at Walls Ramp.......

I used Osborne yesterday.......fished Little Patoka, the rip Rap on the bridge, Creek Channels running back to walls......etc, etc........Nothing Nada....caught one crappie on accident.

It was slow today but we had 4 keepers biggest was 4 pounder. We had to be back home by 2pm if not we would have had a limit. Water temps were 54 to 57. Only caught shorts in the back of the creeks the big girls are still not up to spawn. Most keepers came on Rattle Trap.

We pulled off Dogwood at noon and hit patoka around 1:00pm.......

Fished from 1:00pm until 4:00pm and caught 1 crappie, and had one GOOD hit on a crankbait........

It was TOUGH.............what's up with Patoka...........

I talked to a couple of guys fishing the Hoosier top 8, and they said 16lbs was leading yesterday, and second was 12 lbs.................

    NOT VERY GOOD guys............

Was crappie fishing and caught over 100 fish in shallow water on jigs and roadrunners. Had to tie up to trees due to the wind. Temp at dock was 60 and in the bays 66.

Fished Patoka on Monday the 27th. Very windy. Caught everything off of the calm side of points. Whether it was the inside weed line, or chunk rock and timber. Everything was caught on a spinnerbait 1/4 to 1/2 oz. The bite wasn't crazy just steadily slow. Did catch a boat limit. One was over 6lbs. All pre spawn fish and did not see any beds. There was some buck bass caught though. So there are some spawning.
Water temp was 66 or so -70 or so by the end of the day depending on where u were at. I fished with a friend. Fished Walls to Osborne. Went up Little Patoka. And passed the dam. Nice day for a boat ride!
