Gave the nighttime hybrid thing a try with only one 5 lber to show for it. Shad working the banks well, but the fish not in them.. Nighttime water temps ranged from 62-65 depending on where you were. Day time temps about 4 degrees higher.

Do you fish for the hybrids often, fishincreek? We used to make the long drive to Barren 5 or 6 times each Spring, but after 3 or 4 GREAT years, we had a couple of trips with zero fish and quit going. Would love to go again, but we refuse to go until we know that someone is catching them at night on the surface.
