Yeah, Riverrat12 .... chicken livers do work. Unfortunately, it may well be the reason why there are so few "large" Hybrids left in T-ville. Seems like just about the time that the Hybrids were getting to the (old) 15" size limit range ... people started catching them on chicken livers. Word got out, and I haven't seen any of that size, since. (And that's been quite a few years ago). Haven't fished there much in the last few years, so I don't know if the Hybrids have rebounded any.
I never got into the chicken liver use, but did castnet some 3-4" Shad ... and caught some good sized ones, back in the day.

Ya know pappy I to have noticed that the good hybrids seem to have disappeared from The Ville. Over harvesting I guess was the culprit, but they are nowhere near in that lake like they use to be, just little Nubenheads and that's it.
