Shellcrackers on Dale Hollow

Anybody know how close the shellcrackers on Dale Hollow are to bedding? I went down last year at the end of May and found out I was about 2 weeks late. I'm planning a long weekend of fishing and camping for me and my dad. We've not done this since I was a kid and I would like to get him on some hot fishing.

I wouldn't try to hard to compare any timing in the past to fishing Dale this year. We have had a much different spring than anyone can recall. None of the normal patterns have been timely. What I can tell you about the red ear, is the big good ones are scattered and hitting.....I have boated a few every outing while SM fishing
