I prefer fishing UP the lake, where it turns into a snakey, winding, meandering river like, there are several creeks that are usually stacked, if you fish areas on the main lake that are more rock than grass or mud banks throw a spring craw colored Bandit. also in the grass white spinner baits are killer and they seem to like the "BIG" spinnerbaits opposed to the smaller ones. if you go up the lake you will find a narrow channel with grass covered flats on the sides of the channel, this is prime, also if you head up where it get's shallow in the creeks you will find bedding bass. I compare dewey to Florida type lakes with regard to the Hydrilla mats.
Never fished the lake in my life but that boys was a break down, nice MagikSmallie!
