Got to Ikes today at 1230ish and fished until 8PM. I caught around twenty with the best five going around 8 pounds. I had a 5 pound plus at the boat the first thirty minutes I was there and she broke off at the boat. My cousin just stood there with the dip net in shock. Very slow day but fun. I only seen one bass trying to bed and she was not locked and most all the bass caught today were ready to pop and none had bloody tails. I am sure by next week they will move up BIG TIME!! One bass was around ten inches and looked like she swallowed a baseball!! My cousin said " you fisk keep spawning younger and younger these days. What a shame this world has come to."
