In small ponds I like to throe the cabin creek spider jig. Any color works great, Pumpkinseed, Salt & Pepper & chartrues are my favorites

try throwin a tiny bruch hog......avacodo green with red flake ur love then this time of year,,,or go to the basics. get there at the break of daylight with the old famous broken back rebel sliver & black or rapala....fun morning blow ups...
