Is it a mudhole by chance? Taking the wife and son down tomorrow for a few days and was wondering if it is fishable with all the rain.
I was down with my wife last weekend at mid-Barkley (Prizer) and the water conditions were pretty good. Some of the bays had some murk to them but most of lake including the main lake was clear. It was up 2 feet last week end and I noticed last night that it is down 1.5 feet from then just a shade over summer pool. I think the water conditions will be good. I don't think there has been a crazy amount of rain down there since Sunday either. I am heading west myself in a couple of hours to try to fish a bit more this time...

I live in Hoptown and our rivers here in town that supply Blue Springs are still clear. Should be okay on North Barkley tommorrow.
ellwood , was down there monday and tuesday water in polar creek was just a little stained could see down about 2 ft . Seen a 5lb caught out of poplar creek , all in all fishing pretty good there , Kataie said she had your room ready. Hope you have good luck.
Dad and I are getting ready to leave about 4 am sat for the week and according to the tva site it was only a few inches about pool. They sucked out several feet this week according to the numbers. I SURE HOPE NOT!!!![]()
North Barkley was fine last Saturday. Good luck...
North Barkley is fine.
Thanks for all the help. Got a 5 yr old that is ON POINT and can't wait for his hand to hand combat with whatever tugs on his line. If he catches one as wide as his little arms spread apart when you ask him how big is his fish going to be, the world record is in JEOPARDY. He says he catches Big fish and mommy's fish are Sardine rejects.
