Excel Line

I have heard that BPS has changed who they get their Excel Line from and it is not as good as it once was. I have a rain check for several spools and was wondering if the quality is still the same as before I go over and get it. Thanks Ryan.

I bought some last week and it was as good as before. Now I don't know if I had some stock that was on the shelf from the previous manufacture since I don't know how to tell. If it's true I wonder how long before we get the new stuff. I had always heard that Shakespeare made their line. Anyone else heard that?

BTW, I used the Shakespeare stuff and it worked just as well for me.

The last 2 spools i bought I returned. I used to like it but maybe they did switch b/c the last wasn't as good.

I just bougt some excel line 2 weeks ago and it is terrible. If you hit the line against anything in the water it wants to fray.
