Flatheads - use live bait - large minnows - small bluegills - gold fish

Channel cats - use chix liver (may catch a hybrid) - night crawlers

Blues - cut bait

I would soak anything you use in a vanilla extra. It makes the bait smell graet. I've used shrimp & nightcrawlers soaked in that stuff and it seems to work great.

well i like useing shad,,,they had a great shad spawn this yr,,,there was huge schools of shad in Brair creek last weekend,,,,take you a cast net
